A wacky local radio station tries to keep its head above water with a variety of crazy characters, and its very own audio drama show!!

In the far North, near the US-Canadian border, there sits a little town where everything is a bit different. After a meteorite splashed down in 1975, all wireless communication was knocked out except for the tiny, low-power radio station operating out of the town's historic opera house. Now, 40 years later, the station, known simply as Radio Icebox, is fighting against mysterious aliens, zombie turkeys, disappearing gypsy women, men in black, and more! And it all keeps coming back to that meteorite....

With nowhere to go after the death of her husband, an old woman returns to the tiny town she left decades earlier. As the strain of living in an unfamiliar climate, and trying to reconnect with her daughter-in-law, builds, Minnie begins to hear voices in the large house she lives in. Soon, she must confront the demons of her past or fall victim to the harsh, Minnesota winter.

Up north on the very edge of America is the town of Icebox, Minnesota. And in tiny Icebox there is a family of three lovely ladies; a daughter, a mother, and a grandmother who together run the local newspaper. And trouble simply cannot leave these three "Scoop Sisters" alone.

When you live along an international border, the temptation to smuggle a small item or two (Cuban cigars, illicitly caught fish) across can be quite strong. When two women are asked to smuggle a box of steaks across, they readily agree. But the night is Halloween, and when the "steaks" end up eating a customs guard, there appears to be no way out in this comedy sketch from the Icebox of the Nation. Recorded before a live audience.
