Walter's family is holding a yard sale, but there are few customers. Walter, farting contentedly near Father, wonders why. When a man offers ten dollars for Walter, Father readily agrees. Walter wonders why. Walter is sad to leave his family behind but relieved to discover that his new owner is a clown. Walter figures he will help the clown bring joy to children on their birthdays. But the clown has a dastardly plot: He will use Walter's gas to inflate balloons and then pop them to stun guards during bank robberies. Will Walter turn to the dark side? Of course not! He comes out a hero and is reunited with his family by doing what he does best.

As I begin my eighty-third year, I’ve been engaging in quite a bit of reflection about my interactions with people over the years. After fifty-five years of ministry in seventy-plus countries, I have so much to review that prioritizing the individual conversations has been a challenge. Even so, I’m enjoying the process, and it’s a good thing that I have so many to choose from. Most of the time, I’m thinking and looking forward, but it has been very rewarding to remember the past. Memories can be the treasure or the curse of old age; thank God, mine are bringing me profound joy.

This audiobook is 40 short poems I wrote throughout my time travelling the globe on a 10-year journey. During this time, I was suffering from addiction and mental health without even knowing. The message in this first book is it is perfectly fine to be suffering from addiction and mental health, as I am trying to turn my negative life experience positive, and show people what you can do if you set your mind to it.

For the majority of my fifty-seven years following Jesus, I have recorded my discoveries in a private spiritual journal. Over time, it grew into several notebooks that were eventually transferred to my computer. They contained various thoughts and insights that seemed important to my spiritual development. Some were pivotal, others less so, but I recorded them all, not knowing how God would use them in my life. All of the notes I recorded were meant for personal use, and as my way of showing God that I was paying attention.
