When it started, a girls wedding and New Years Eve were only six hours away, and Philip Marlowe didn’t think the bride-to-be would make either one of them, but that was before he ran up against the slot machine operator, the escaped convict, and above all, the old acquaintance.

Philip Marlowe was a fictional private eye created by author Raymond Chandler. He was first seen as portrayed by Humphrey Bogart in the 1939 classic feature The Big Sleep. The fictional detective was introduced to the radio in 1947 and, by 1949, was the most popular radio detective.

After their latest successful Vegas Gone Girls trafficking case is solved, Mick Finnegan and Joe Lawler are looking for a spot of calm and R&R. They think they’ve found it, when their new Chief of Police insists that they travel to Provo, Utah for a pleasant fishing trip.
