In New York City, in April of 1874, a most unusual event took place. A severely abused nine-year-old girl named Mary Ellen Wilson became the first child in America to be rescued from an abusive home. She had been beaten, burned, slashed with scissors, locked in a closet, and had never been outside of her tenement home in over 7 years. Thanks to the concern and dedication of a missionary named Etta Wheeler, the child was finally saved from her cruel captors.

A phone call to his sister leads Flex Sheridan into a nightmare and a quest to save his family from a new, horrifying epidemic that's turning humans into zombies. As he makes his way from Georgia to Gainesville, Florida and back, he picks up old and new friends and survivors. Flex reconnects with perhaps the strongest woman he's ever known, Gem Cardoza, his former girlfriend.

Eric A. Shelman was born in Fort Worth, Texas, so he's not sure how much more American someone can be. He grew up in the '60s, with memories of community parades, men and women on horseback carrying flags of his home state of Texas and the United States, and all the riders proudly wearing red, white, and blue. Patriotic music played in the background while onlookers ate hot dogs and cotton candy cheering on the participants.

In order to release a reading of the Declaration of Independence in audiobook format, the original founding document written by Thomas Jefferson in 1776 and adopted by the second Continental Congress, it was necessary to also create a short book to go along with it. We felt it was worth the effort—early listeners of our audiobook presentation have been very favorable, so we felt it was a worthy venture.

Now safely gathered in Lebanon, Kansas, our survivors work with Micky Rode and the Nacogdoche Indian Tribe to train refugees of the apocalypse to become true warriors. To find Climbing Fox Wattana, they must cross a countryside teeming with flesh-craving skinwalkers. The skinwalkers have drawn together to form massive hordes - some wandering on their own; others amassed by Qaletaqa, an ancient Chief of the Hintoka Tribe who possesses near immortality. But he also hides a deeper secret of which few living humans are aware.

The camera has a dark past. The evil that seeped into its mechanisms manifests itself in ways only Jack Hunger and Wayne Olsen can understand. But that's only because they're familiar with the darkness, and how to fight it. Others who encounter its subjects haven't a clue what they are about to face.

We used to believe that mankind contaminated the Earth through our use of oil, coal, and other non-biodegradable consumables and pollutants.
