Why do writers write? Who do they write for? These are the questions I will be asking our writers. There is a reason why writers write a certain story. What prompts this? What “inner voice” speaks to them? And the next question is, Who is your reader? Who are you writing this for? That is the THEME of this podcast. My name is Sharon Anderson, and I am the founder of the Cape Cod Writers’ Studio.

The vampires rose up and took over, leaving the population — very literally — on the bottom of the food chain. Now humans either serve a useful function or are classified as fodder for the ruling vampire class. All his life Eric Lane has known himself to be a loyal servant to one of the vampire nobility. With his decorated team of warriors he is sent to intercept the mistress of the elusive terrorist known only as "the Scorpion." He wakes up to find his team has been slaughtered and he is in vampire custody with a gap in his memory.
