The combined talents of Rob Grant and Andrew Marshall have had a large influence on British television. With Grant being the cocreator of Red Dwarf and former head writer of Spitting Image and Marshall responsible for 2point4children, Dad and Health & Efficiency, it seems only natural that they would team up for a radio series and novel collaboration with The Quanderhorn Xperimentations, a period sci-fi fantasy published in 2018. Rob Grant and Andrew Marshall talk to us about their latest novel spin-off, the inspiration behind it and what it’s like to write in partnership.

Joining us in the Audible Studios to discuss his latest biography, Meghan: A Hollywood Princess, is international best-selling writer and journalist Andrew Morton. Gaining notoriety from his highly acclaimed biography of Diana, Princess of Wales, published in 1992, Andrew Morton has solidified himself as the go-to biographer for celebrities and royals alike. His latest book is on Hollywood actress and future Duchess Meghan Markle. Andrew Morton talks to us about his latest title, including what people might find surprising about Markle and what he learnt about her relationship with Prince Harry.

Joining us in the Audible Studios to talk about his latest book, Me and the Table, is former professional snooker player and current commentator for the BBC and ITV Stephen Hendry. Best known for dominating snooker in the 1990s. He won the World Championship seven times, became the youngest professional snooker player aged 16 in 1985 and, in 1990, was the youngest-ever world champion at the age of 21. His autobiography, Me and the Table, was published in September 2018.

Joining us in the Audible Studios to talk about his latest title, Whiteout, is the international best-selling author of the Dark Iceland series, Ragnar Jonasson. Born in Reykjavik, Iceland, Ragnar joins the ranks of talented Icelandic noir writers to emerge in recent years - author of the acclaimed Dark Iceland series, his work has seen him reach the top of best-selling lists, with Snowblind (the first in the series) selected by The Independent as one of the best crime novels of 2015 in the UK.

Visiting the Audible Studios for the first time is one of YouTube's most influential faces, Jim Chapman, who's here to discuss his first book, 147 Things: My User's Guide to the Universe, from Black Holes to Belly Buttons. An Internet sensation with an impeccable sense of fashion, Jim Chapman talks to Audible about where it all began, why he's become a fact collector and what else is left for him to do.

Joining us at Audible Studios is comedian and writer, Josie Long. Having performed stand-up comedy since the age of fourteen, Long is a familiar with the comedy circuit. We'll be talking to Josie Long about her newest venture, a collection of short stories titled Because I Don't Know What You Mean and What You Don't. We'll find out if Josie is a cat lover, why rubbish housing pops up a lot in her stories, and what impact her ADHD diagnosis has had on understanding her writing process.

After appearing in three seasons of Made in Chelsea, Dunlop decided it was time to leave, and she moved to LA to pursue a career as a singer. Dunlop was struggling with anxiety and depression around this time and the behaviours she had learned when she was younger were no longer serving her to become who she wanted to be. She decided to start a podcast, Saturn Returns, with astrologist Noura Bourni, in which they look at the transitions a person in their late twenties can face when Saturn returns to the position it was in when they were born.

Choosing to pursue a career in journalism (rather than being a footballer) has paid off for Dan Walker. Having previously released his book Remarkable People, Walker is following it up with Standing on the Shoulders, another collection full of inspiring people: the heroes that he doesn't want history to forget. We'll be talking to Dan Walker about the stories he tells, what inspires him, and how difficult it is to have a last minute toilet break on Strictly Come Dancing.

Starting out as a double act with Stewart Lee, Herring appeared in This Morning with Richard Not Judy, and Fist of Fun, and became known for his comedy drama You Can Choose Your Friends. His podcasts and interview style have wonderful charm, and his Richard Herring Leicester Square Theatre Podcast (or RHLSTP as it is affectionately known) gives insight into celebs such as Stephen Fry and Jeremy Paxman.

Joining us in the Audible Studios is radio and telly presenter, Nick Grimshaw. Known to us affectionately as Grimmy, he has been a part of our daily lives since reaching his childhood dream of presenting on BBC Radio 1 in 2007. Having hosted the Radio 1 Breakfast show, taken over the Drive Time slot, and appeared on our screens in The X Factor and Gogglebox, Nick Grimshaw has become a household name.

Born in London and trained at Lamda, Joseph's acting career began in the Royal Shakespeare Company. He has appeared regularly on television in shows such as Peep Show, Timeless and BBC drama Vigil, and on the big screen in movies such as Æon Flux and The Beach. Joseph wrote and performed in a one man play, titled Sancho: An Act of Remembrance. Now, he has been looking more deeply at the life of Charles Ignatius Sancho, the first Black person to vote in Britain, publishing a novel about his life.

Joining us in the Audible studios today is former Women's Arsenal captain and broadcaster, Alex Scott. Scott's memoir, How (Not) to Be Strong, shows a different side of Scott altogether. It delves into her childhood, exploring her vulnerable and softer side, and builds a picture of how she became who she is today.

Known for his roles in Coming Of Age and Hollyoaks, as well as regularly appearing in pantomimes across the country, Tracini is well loved. When Coronavirus and lockdown hit, Tracini began making videos documenting his journey with Borderline Personality Disorder. Using comedy to portray the difficulties he suffers has enabled him to reach a wide audience with his message. And the main issue he addressed? How to not kill himself. Suicidal thoughts are something Tracini lives with every day, and so, on to the next way of ensuring he stays alive: write a book about it!

Author of Do No Harm and a memoir titled Admissions, both of which became Sunday Times best sellers, Marsh has documented his career as a neurosurgeon. He spent two decades as senior consultant at St George’s hospital in London, one of the countries largest specialist units for neurosurgery, as well as travelling to Ukraine, Nepal and the United States of America to perform surgeries. Since retiring from full-time work at the NHS, Marsh has been undergoing treatment after receiving a diagnosis of advanced prostate cancer.

Magician and presenter Stephen Mulhern joined us at Audible Studios to chat about his latest magical foray—Max Magic—which is his first children’s novel. We’ll be talking to Stephen about why he wanted to share his story, why it was important he made the book accessible for all, and having a good laugh about struggling with spicy food and being mistaken for Bradley Walsh.

Joining us at Audible Studios is author Kit de Waal. Growing up in poverty in Birmingham, de Waal was exposed to many challenges as a child. Being British, Irish and Caribbean, she experienced many aspects of racism, and her chaotic home life was both a comfort and a difficulty. We'll be talking with Kit de Waal about her newest book, a memoir titled Without Warning and Only Sometimes, and asking why she turned the lens on herself, how her love of reading began, and how it felt to have Armageddon hanging over her as a child.

Joining us at Audible Studios is performance artist, writer and theatre maker, Travis Alabanza. Following the incredible success of their award-winning debut work, Burgerz, Alabanza has continued to create performance and discourse about trans and black identities. Their theatre show Overflow, which premiered at The Bush theatre, was shortlisted for the George Devine Award, and has been met with critical acclaim. Their writing appears in The Guardian and Vice, and has been published in anthologies such as Black and Gay in the UK.

Beginning her professional career as a fashion journalist and stylist, Scanlon has gone on to become a household name at the BBC, fronting documentaries on BBC Three, and presenting Your Home Made Perfect. Scanlon has not stopped there: she has also presented a BBC Radio 2 show and often presents The One Show too. Scanlon has hosted her own podcast since 2019 titled Thanks A Million which has proved to be hugely popular, currently on its fifth series, and her book Joyrider is now on the (virtual and physical) shelves.

Easily one of the most recognisable pop singers from the '90s, thanks to his trademark style, the founder, front man and sole consistent member of Pulp, Jarvis Cocker, is deeply ingrained in the world of music. He has written for The Guardian and presented the BBC Radio 6 Music show, Jarvis Cocker's Sunday Service, for seven years. So much of his life relates to music, is influenced by it and, in turn, he is influenced by the music surrounding him at any given time.

Joining us at Audible Studios is actor and writer Obioma Ugoala. Ugoala trained at and graduated from the Drama Centre, London, and spent the beginning of his career touring and performing with the Royal Shakespeare Company. He has played the role of Kristoff in London's West End Frozen show, Smokey Robinson in Motown: The Musical, and George Washington in Hamilton. Ugoala also provides workshops and outreach programmes to BAME students in Greater London, and has most recently written a book, The Problem With My Normal Penis.
