Casper Creek is located in Kentucky, on top of a small mountain, and is fashioned after notorious towns from the old west. Workers dress up, man the saloon, and put on a variety of performances several times a day. A city girl, Hannah is out of her element. She’s determined to give it a shot, though.

Harper Harlow has everything she wants. She has a new house...a new fiancé...and some time off work because the stretch after the holidays is generally slow. All that changes when she gets a call from her mother during a storm. The two sides are going to have to come together to solve this one...and even then, the final answer might tear their entire world apart.

Halloween is right around the corner and Harper Harlow should be at her happiest. She's moving in with her boyfriend Jared Monroe, after all, and into a house that's right across the street so she won't be separated from her best friend. All should be well - and it is - until one of Harper's customers stumbles across a dead body in the cemetery during a tour one night. The woman, a local who worked at the bank, was last seen at a rather infamous party and her movements before and after that are murky. She has ties to a lot of people, and not all of them are upstanding citizens.

The Bounding Storm is racing toward adventure, and this time it’s something completely out of the ordinary. Rowan Gray still can’t wrap her mind around the fact that an old shipwreck – one that could make salvagers rich beyond their wildest dreams – is going to be The Bounding Storm’s main focus for a full week. It’s true, though, and the shift in demeanor on the boat is exciting and worrisome at the same time. Even Rowan’s boyfriend Quinn isn’t immune and he’s swept up in the grandeur of the event, right until things turn sour and someone attacks one of the divers. It becomes clear rather quickly that something else is going on and someone has nefarious designs on the find.

There's no better time to be in love - and newly engaged - than Valentine's Day. That's what Ivy Morgan believes anyway. She's happy, looking forward to spring, and eager to show her fiancé Jack Harker around Shadow Lake's infamous winter festival. Unfortunately for Ivy, things don't go as planned. While visiting the community barn, one of the girls prepping for the annual pageant falls ill and Ivy has a terrifying vision of the event before it happens. It turns out the girl has been poisoned, and in an effort to watch the remaining girls, Ivy signs up to be a mentor.

It seems Phantoms, one of the most popular shows on the Independent Ghost Hunting Network, is interested in doing a location shoot at Ludington Asylum, which just happens to be located on a small island near Whisper Cove. Since childhood, Harper Harlow has been infatuated with the story of a crazy doctor gone rogue and the resulting investigation that found numerous missing patients (but no bodies) at the former institution. Producers want to feature Harper and Zander on their show, and Zander is happy to oblige despite Harper's reticence.

The dog days of summer are here and the heat isn't the only thing oppressing the populace in Whisper Cove. No, it seems that feelings - the big "L" word, to be exact - are weighing heavily on Harper Harlow and Jared Monroe. Both halves of Whisper Cove's favorite couple are both desperate and terrified to say it.

When a local farmer is found dead on his property, Jack and Ivy find themselves embroiled in a dark mystery of epic proportions. The clues go back years and the suspect pool is unnaturally large given the number of workers on the farm. Ivy is going to have her hands full. She has to charm Jack's mother, find a murderer, and keep herself safe. When the end comes, Ivy finds herself saddled with an unlikely ally while Jack is fighting a battle against time to reach the woman he loves before a killer can snuff out their happily ever after.

Harper Harlow has ghosts coming out of her ears. Between her regular jobs at Ghost Hunters, Inc. - and the secret her best friend Zander appears to be keeping - she has her hands full. Things only become more complicated when one of Whisper Cove's oldest residents comes knocking on the police department's door. It seems Annette Fleming decided to do some cleaning and while in the attic she found some photographs of a dead body, and she has no idea who the victim is or when she died.

Whisper Cove is stuck in a heat wave, although it's nothing compared to the fire stoking between Harper Harlow and Jared Monroe. They're happy and enjoying themselves...until a face from the past resurfaces. Jason Thurman and Harper had a brief fling in high school, and when he returns to town to open a restaurant he's hoping they can revisit their relationship as adults.

Ofelia Archer is working toward a goal, both personally and professionally, and she’s making great strides on both. Her attention is diverted, however, when a steamboat washes ashore next to the riverwalk…and it’s a boat that is more than a hundred years overdue. The Adelaide was supposedly lost on the river back in the day, all souls onboard believed lost, and yet it’s in New Orleans…and it might not be empty. Ofelia and her boyfriend Zach Sully are part of the first team to visit the boat, and almost immediately Ofelia is struck by the reality they’re not alone.

Casper Creek is a town in flux. Contractors are on the scene making plans for the new restaurant, owner Hannah Hickok is plotting ridiculous couple’s costumes for the Halloween party, and there’s a new demon in town. Instead of coming after Hannah directly, the demon does an end-run around the witch and starts possessing the area children…and sending them into a frenzy. Through a fluke, Hannah manages to put an end to the first attack. Unfortunately, a wave of them are set to follow.

You are formally invited to the wedding of Ivy Morgan and Jack Harker. Before they walk down the aisle, though, there’s one more mystery to solve. Ivy, who is finishing up the last days of her community service, inserts herself into a tense situation, when the alarm at the domestic violence shelter she is working at sounds, and she goes off to make sure all the women and children are accounted for.

Ofelia Archer is living the dream...or as close as seemingly possible. She owns her own business, her father seems to be on an even keel, and her new relationship with detective Zacharias Sully is cruising right along. Everything changes in an instant, though, when screams from the street lead to zombies running amok through the French Quarter. Ofelia is a tough witch who takes no guff but even she is at a loss. Who is creating the zombies? Where are they coming from? They’re not rising from the dead as much as being bumped off and used as an invading army.

During what should’ve been a romantic double date, a fire breaks out at a historic home. Harper Harlow and Jared Monroe race to the scene to make sure nobody is trapped or in danger...and discover one heck of a secret. It seems, the house, which was owned by a solitary older woman who kept to herself, was being run as a brothel. Now, she’s dead, and there’s a bevy of married men on the hot seat for her murder.

The Big Easy is about to be buried in big trouble. Again. For Ofelia Archer, that means she’s knee-deep in an investigation, even though she’s not quite sure how she got there. Zach Sully thinks he’s in for an easy night at Ofelia’s speakeasy. Maybe, a little flirting as a lead-up to a date included, when a scream in a neighboring abandoned building draws his attention.

Hannah Hickok didn’t know she was a witch, but now that she’s embracing her destiny she can’t wait to learn about magic. Given the trouble that seems to find Casper Creek on a regular basis, that’s probably a good thing. Cooper Wyatt is there to lend a helping hand but also eager for her to strike out on her own...until the unthinkable happens. On their first official date, Cooper and Hannah bear witness to a horrifying scene. A local woman, who had gone missing days before, jumps off a downtown building and kills herself. The question is: Why?

Things take a turn for the worse when one of those break-ins results in the death of a local barber. It seems what was once written off as teenage hijinks is something else entirely. In addition to the break-ins, Harper finds herself distracted by a new resident. He’s bringing an art gallery to town...as well as his troubled sister.

It’s a tangled web of intrigue and magic as Rowan and Ivy come face to face with some carefully concealed secrets. They’re going to have to work together if they expect to survive the murderer running free on The Bounding Storm.
