The Dreams in the Witch House is a horror short story by American writer H. P. Lovecraft, part of the Cthulhu Mythos cycle. Written in January/February 1932, it was first published in the July 1933 issue of Weird Tales. Walter Gilman, a student of mathematics and folklore at Miskatonic University, rents an attic room in the "Witch House", a house in Arkham, Massachusetts that is rumored to be cursed. The house once harboured Keziah Mason, an accused witch who disappeared mysteriously from a Salem jail in 1692.

In the shadowed streets and decaying buildings of Red Hook, New York, Detective Thomas Malone encounters horrors beyond human comprehension. Sent to investigate a series of strange events in this sinister neighborhood, he discovers a dark world of ancient rituals, occult practices, and hidden mysteries lurking beneath the city’s surface. As Malone delves deeper, he finds himself facing powers that defy all rational thought, leading him into a nightmare he may never escape.

Between 1925-27, H.P. Lovecraft wrote Supernatural Horror in Literature, an extended essay about about the history of the weird tale. In it he describes supernatural horror from its earliest manifestations up to the 1920s. Lovecraft offers his own candid opinions on the merits (and deficiencies) of the world's canon of strange literature. The H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society recorded the essay as an audiobook. Read by society founders Sean Branney and Andrew Leman, the recording is approximately three hours long.

The Call of Cthulhu is one of H. P. Lovecraft's best-known short stories. Written in the summer of 1926, it is the only story written by Lovecraft in which the extraterrestrial entity Cthulhu himself makes a major appearance. "The Outsider" is a short story by American horror writer H. P. Lovecraft. Written between March and August 1921, it was first published in Weird Tales, April 1926. In this work, a mysterious man who has been living alone in a castle for as long as he can remember decides to break free in search of human contact and light. "The Outsider" is one of Lovecraft's most commonly reprinted works and is also one of the most popular stories ever to be published in Weird Tales.
