First published in 1923, Kahlil Gibran's book of 26 fables tells the story Al Mustafa, who speaks on a vast array of topics dealing with humanity.

This 1918 novella presents the life history of an ideal inamorata, universally admired and doomed to an untimely passing. The author uses the story to explore in-depth the concept of beauty, both personal and spiritual.

Full of wisdom, and written in simple, poetic language, The Prophet is a book for all ages, which remains amazingly relevant to our times. After living in one city for 12 years, a prophet is about to board a ship which will carry him home. He is stopped by the people of the city, who ask him for his insights into life. His answers have make this book a treasure.

This collection of three stories was originally published in 1908 in Arabic under the title Al-Arwah Al-Mutamarridah. The English translation was first published in 1911. All are set in Lebanon, where the author spent the first 12 years of his life, and explore various aspects of love relationships.

The Prophet is a masterpiece of poetic prose written by Lebanese born; American Poet: Kahlil Gibran - exploring social morality through the lense of a profoundly moving spirit. The audiobook invites the listener to reimagine The Prophet through the voice of Almitra as it was originally written. The words of The Prophet have been spoken in marriage ceremonies, used to explain birth and death, and given even more depth and breadth to love, joy and sorrow.
