However, the boys become suspicious, and their investigations lead them to Honeycomb Caves in Rockaway, where they uncover a plot to disrupt the operation of the radar station.

Their dad has been hired by a pharmaceutical firm to find missing drug shipments and calls on the boys to help. He disappears at one point and his sons team up to rescue him from whatever happened. They made an extremely brave rescue of their dad from unscrupulous smugglers.
