Occultism and magick is rife with symbols. In fact, the very basis of magick and occult is symbology. Everything is symbolic of some higher truth, from the rituals we perform to the books we listen to. We are immersed in the power and magick of symbols. The tarot cards are one aspect of occultism that I feel is worth paying close attention to. In this book, we will not be focusing on tarot cards as a source of knowledge about the future; there are plenty of good books for that. Instead, we will be using them as a driving force for magickal practice.

The Talmud is by far the most important set of books in the Jewish faith aside from the Torah or the first five books of the Old Testament. In many ways, the Talmud may even surpass that in importance. I say this because if the Talmud did not exist, the laws that are written in the Torah would not make any sense. So in this way, it is like Jewish Canon law. Just like Catholic Canon law explains biblical texts of the bible, so too does the Talmud. It does not only explain laws, but it goes into great depth on many other topics as well.

Many people have asked me over the years if I use the pendulum. The answer, in short, is yes. I use the pendulum quite often and have used it for over 15 years. The great Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and fortune. She is renowned across all of India as the most beneficent goddess of the Hindu pantheon. She not only bestows wealth and fortune in the material world, but also the spiritual. That is the beauty of Lakshmi. When you call upon her, she prepares you for wealth and fortune from the inside out. Often it happens very quickly, and in some cases, it can take some time. In either case, she is very responsive. In this book, we will tap into the eight manifestations of this great Goddess.

If you have read my other books, you know that I like to take complex ideas and break them down so they become accessible to all who read it. I will attempt to do so in this book as well. I have always resonated with the Eastern paths and like my work with the Occult, I found that all these teachings are so very technical and complex. If you know me, you know that I think complexity is never a sign that the underlying teaching is effective or any good for that matter.

Many magickal texts have been written around the Watchers, and I am hoping to add my two cents to the discussion. Several decades ago, I worked with the Watchers. Ganesha also known more commonly in the west as Ganesh, is one of the most beloved, if not the most beloved deities in Hinduism. He is best known for his ability to help people remove obstacles in their lives. Although this I my first book on Ganesh, I have taught people the Ganesh mantras and they have used it with great success. I have received several emails stating that the Ganesh mantra added that extra spark they needed in their lives.

Some of you who know me know that I have a very powerful relationship with Goddess energy. I find personally that the magick that employs the Goddess is simply more powerful for me. I don't know exactly why. Perhaps it is just my personal experience or my karma that the divine Feminine speaks through and to me. I don't know. But I do know that almost all rituals I perform include the Goddess energy. Not that I don't use male energy at all, I do, but for my personal every day practice, it is rare.

This is unlike any other book I have written to-date. For some, this will be incredibly controversial, especially within certain Jewish groups that are more traditional in their practices. I will get a ton of hate mail for this book, in fact I may even get death threats because the use of Tefillin that I will recommend will be a sacrilege to many people, but also a liberation to some as well. This is okay, because it is my job in this world to provide my listeners with magick that works.

This powerful prayer on the surface seems like a standard prayer; nothing particularly remarkable is contained within the verses. This name of God is so powerful that just by reciting it and gazing upon the letters, you can gain immense powers from the divine.
