Project VA, a new podcast from Biola Theatre students and The Torch Podcast Network, is a place where we invite creative works to come to life through voice acting and dramatization! We invite writers to submit their written works such as scripts, poems, and short stories, which are then performed by passionate voice actors. Whether it’s a gripping drama or a heartfelt poem, we hope to bring the words off the page and into your ears through an immersive audio experience. Walking By faith is our podcast focusing on people who have experienced losing their sight, having previously been fully or partially sighted, and how this has impacted their faith and spiritual lives. Answering the same set of questions, each episode features a different guest reflecting on topics such as how they see God’s love, what walking by faith means to them and a wellness tip which has helped them on their faith journey.

Mark Madavan, Senior Minister at Fishponds Baptist Church in Bristol, chats to 15 different guests, discussing their relationship with blindness and how it interacts with their faith, before having the tables turned in the final episode, where Mark is the one answering the questions. Each episode finishes with the question ‘What one piece of advice would you tell your younger self about blindness and/or faith?’ Each episode covers different topics, because no two people have the same story to tell!
