Returning from his training with Gold in the strange world of Somerset, Arbor is immediately forced into yet another battle - this time against multiple enemies. Worse, he receives reports of disturbing activity coming from the Goldenleaf Forest, and dire warnings of a threat that Laedrin will not be able to handle. The future holds many uncertainties - the hardest of which comes when Arbor is forced to make a choice between rescuing his sister from herself, and keeping the peace in his own lands.

While Safaia is in an uproar, Roy heads into an ancient library in search of the secrets of advancement and the Path to Gray-Belt. What he discovers may change the course of Buryoku's history forevermore.

The Ghost's Tower stands tall in the razed continent of Tero. Having just escaped the collapsing library and the awakening of a Titan, Roy and the others are shaken, but war waits for no one, even in the midst of a disaster.

The competition between Scions continues, with more on the line than ever before. Roy and his teammates have long odds to beat, especially seeing as they're up against the most powerful team in the entire tournament. With little hope of success, Roy will need to push himself as never before, discovering new depths to both his physical and spiritual power. All the while, Azure watches from on high as ancient seals continue to crumble, heralding the rise of a new age....

Who the hell is Virgonius Simp? To answer this all-important question, Sam must venture through the world of Somerset one last time. Of course, he isn’t exactly a willing participant, but Grem Lynn, queen of the gremlins, doesn’t really give him much choice. Tasked with destroying a conspiracy to overthrow her Grempire – get it? – Sam sets out with his odd group of people and talking animals.

After exiting the Trials, Dabu and Uhane set off in pursuit of Phoenix. However, after encountering a magically charged sandstorm, the pair find themselves far from their intended course. Running short on food and water, they have no choice but to try to find civilization. Instead, they find deserted villages, rumors of a terrifying beast that stalks the night, and no way to turn back. All they can do is forge on, both to find supplies and to discover what sort of creature can send entire villages fleeing for their lives.
