To the best of my knowledge understandably when I first saw the New Yorkers, I was in a state of euphoria concerning the awesome lifestyles of the great people on Earth. I choked out a few words the first time I interacted with them. I immediately realized there is so much more to explore about their characteristics and to create a highly readable novel about them to the world's profundity of their lifestyles.

Lindenbarts fliegender Teppich, Kelim, hat ganz fürchterlich Heimweh nach seiner orientalischen Heimat. Er ist so krank, dass ihm sogar schon die Fransen ausfallen. Doch die zwei Schnarchnasen reiten lieber auf ihren Waldseepferdchen spazieren und entdecken nichts außer ein paar verrückt witzelnden Pilzen. Da muss Lindenbart mit den Kindern selbst zur Tat schreiten, um das Männchen zu stoppen und den Märchenwald vor der Zerstörung zu retten.

Der eitle Wolf will beim Wettbewerb DMSDSDS zur Supadupa-Schönheit des Märchenwalds werden. Er hat aber ein Problem: Seine Zähne sind viel zu gelb. Die Hexe Lindenbart soll ihm mit einem Zahnweiß-Pülverchen helfen. Doch dafür bräuchte Lindenbart Kurkumawurzel und die ist leider aus. Und so muss der Wolf zunächst losziehen, zu Ibn Din Ala, tief in den Wald. Weil er sich aber allein so sehr fürchtet, muss ihn das mutige Rotkäppchen begleiten. Zackzackzack, geht es los. Die beiden treffen unterwegs das wunderschöne Schneewittchen, das auch zum Wettbewerb soll, aber gar nicht möchte.

Im Übermorgenland ist das Wasser verschwunden. Aus den Brunnen von Kalif Omar Tausendundeinerlacht sprudeln nur noch Limonade, Dattelsirup und Mandelmilch. Ein wundersames Rätsel aus Tausendundeinernacht. Doch der lustige Kalif lässt sich davon nicht verdrießen, sondern geht lieber mit der Hexe Lindenbart, dem Raben Igor, den Kindern Anna und Paul und dem fliegenden Teppich Kelim auf den Bio-Basar. Dabei tanzt Igor natürlich mal wieder aus der Reihe und bringt sich selbst in Gefahr.
