En esta divertida comedia de la mano de Puck, el pícaro duendecillo, vemos cómo el amor se convierte en magia, … ! si hasta el rocío de la mañana parece mágico !Aunque sea una comedia, no creais que está tan lejos de la realidad: en la obra parece que la persecución del amor tiene la virtud de convertirnos en tontos e irracionales.

Si nos paramos a pensar por un momento, ¿con qué identificamos la palabra Romeo? ¡Efectivamente¡ La palabra ya se ha convertido prácticamente en sinónimo de amante o enamorado. En la obra, Romeo experimenta un amor de tal pureza y pasión que cuando cree que el objeto su amor Julieta ha muerto.... El amor está por encima de cualquier otro valor y los enamorados van a desafiar a la sociedad y sus convenciones, estando dispuestos a romper con sus familias, sus amigos, e incluso con la autoridad.

Es una comedia romántica en la que a pesar de tener un final feliz Shakespeare nos enseña que el amor puede llegar a producir dolor. De hecho varios de los protagonistas dicen sufrir por amor. La confusión de géneros que se usa en la obra es un buen recurso para producir situaciones cómicas: Viola se disfraza como un hombre para protegerse y conseguir trabajo con el duque Orsino, pero su disfraz va a causar toda clase de enredos y por otro lado Shakespeare parece hacer un guiño a los que consideran la sacrosanta heterosexualidad un tanto aburrida.

In Hamlet, the Prince of Denmark has recently lost his father, but his mother is in a hurry to marry her late husband's brother. Hamlet is overwhelmed with grief for his father's death but also outraged because of the hurried marriage. Most people don't realize that there are three versions of Hamlet, printed at different times. There is a considerable difference between the texts of these versions, so to have a "complete" version of this play, editors had to make some adjustments. The three texts are simply different versions of the play.

Shakespeare writes about the plight of Romeo and Juliet with a lot of empathy and views their tragedy as a result of bad fate, rather than a problem with their characters. We sense from the very start that their relationship is doomed. Romeo and Juliet are portrayed as sincere and virtuous young people who are madly in love, but because of the feud between their families, their relationship has to end. As they won't even consider a separation, the only way out of the situation they find themselves in is by taking their own lives.

Los Sonetos (Sonnets) de Shakespeare son un conjunto de poemas bajo la forma estrófica del soneto inglés en los que se tratan temas tales como el amor, la belleza, la política y la mortalidad. Originalmente los sonetos tienen el mismo estilo de composición poética. Se componen de tres cuartetos endecasílabos, independientes de rima entre sí, y un dístico pareado con los que finaliza el soneto. En su traducción al Español se ha buscado una medida poética con la musicalidad necesaria para respetar al máximo el verso original.
