There are about a thousand things that can go wrong on a trip like this and that's only counting the motorcycle. If you don't have a tire blow or a fuse pop, you still have to worry about getting run over by a semi-truck or beaten to death by some random act of violence. And yet, if you have to get run over by a semi-truck or die of multiple skull fractures, what better way to go? To die a free man, with my motorcycle, carrying only the things a man really needs.

Hello, I want to welcome everyone to Everyday Ordinary Christian. My name is Jason Smith and I am the pastor of Clark County Community Church in Winchester, KY. My goal is to help our church and anyone who wants to come along with us to fulfill the Great Commission. The command that Jesus gave us is to make disciples and to teach them. We will try to do this on Everyday Ordinary Christian by looking into the Word of God and by sharing our testimonies.

Sometimes they warn us of the dangers of wandering too far into the woods, or they can be a detailed story to explain how magnificent landscapes came to be. Story has always been the way we pass time, the way we connect to each other, and most importantly, how we promote our values. Parables, especially, have a dual purpose. Not only do they keep us entertained, but they also make a point. Consider Aesop’s fables—tales of talking animals who learn valuable life lessons.
