Not to mention a chi gift thing that seemed to work a lot like magic. I had no clue why or how it all happened. All I knew was that there were these monster girls I was supposed to protect from an endless horde of semi-human things.

He also happens to control the portal back to our world, which I very much want to use.

In the end, only one rule matters. Fight to win. No matter how strong your opponent proves to be, or how bad the odds are of success. Fight to win. Even when it hurts like nothing you’ve ever felt before, and giving up seems to be the best option, you have to keep going. Fight to win.
