Trata de la historia de un niño, príncipe en un planeta sin gente, que un día abandona su reino desengañado de una flor de la cual está enamorado. En el viaje que emprende por distintos planetas conoce sucesivamente a un rey, un vanidoso, un bebedor, un hombre de negocios, un farolero y un geógrafo. Finalmente llega a la tierra, donde encuentra a una flor, un zorro, un guardagujas, un comerciante y un aviador caído en el desierto que trata de arreglar la avería del motor de su avión.

É um conto poético em que um piloto perdido no deserto encontra um jovem príncipe em visita à Terra vindo de um minúsculo asteroide. A história é filosófica e inclui críticas sociais ao mundo adulto.

Adapted in theatrical form to enable and encourage children and adults to create their own show.
