Lovely book, terrible narrator
Alexander Fink has no business narrating books in English. I've never read The Little Prince, so it's unfortunate that this narrator was my first experience with the book. His very strong accent makes it difficult to understand, he has no pacing whatsoever (doesn't even pause a beat when announcing new chapters), and he made several mistakes where he repeated sentences two or three times and didn't bother to edit that out. The story was sweet, but this narrator ruined the experience for me.

dissapointing
What would have made The Little Prince better?
This is one of my all-time favorite books. The narration would have been better done if it was read by Stephen Hawking. There was absolutely no attempt to get the story across, just a very dry reading of the words.
Would you be willing to try another one of Alexander Fink’s performances?
Absolutely not

terrible production quality
Amazon's quality control should not even allow this production to be sold on Audible. Poorly produced, rushed pace, repeated lines. At one point, the reader stops mid-sentence and starts all over again. We hear the whole thing. Poor editing. If you're a fan of the story, or wanting to experience it for the first time, I recommend you look elsewhere!

This was read by someone who appears to be German. Between the English translation and his accent, he seemed to be reading with no attempt to dramatize or emphasize the story. I missed parts of the story because of his lack of inflection

Classic story with great message.
Thanks performance of this audiobook is really what stood out to me. Sometimes the accent was hard to understand but overall I really enjoyed the story. It's a short story but ends with a great message about The Little Prince. Would definitely recommend.

Great, meaningful story
I love the story and it's deep meaning. It's a classic, akin to Aesop's Fables. The reading is very crisp and clear, but the reader is clearly German and mispronounces many English words.

An essential book in any library
“The essential is invisible to the eye”. Every time that I read (or listen to) this statement I feel like flying. One of my favorite books, highly recommended in a very good perdormance.

Narrated perfectly!!!
Many people comment about the poor narration, but I think that it is perfect!! My understanding is that this book is supposed to be written as a children's book. I truly felt that I was listening to a 'grown-up' bedtime story as I listened, as I felt the narrator was reading it directly to me. My only complaint, is that I had to get my computer to look up the illustrated pictures of the book to see what the narrator was referring to during some parts (but alas, this is a universal problem with audiobooks).
Otherwise, I LOVE this story and this reading of it! Enjoy!
