Why TEAL? Because it’s the color that represents ovarian cancer (OC). That's the cancer I was (first) diagnosed with back in 2011. I decided to start this podcast because, sadly, OC is a disease that so many women (still) don’t know much, if anything, about. The aim of this podcast is to bring about (much needed) awareness by sharing my story and interviewing warr;ors that want to share their stories as well as guests that work in the medical field or w/cancer organizations.
