About this listen

Welcome to Real Talk with Hope. I'm just a gal sitting in front of a microphone getting real with the world. 😉 I won't shy away from just about any topic; however, this is not about one topic in particular but rather it will be about a plethora upon a plethora of topics. It MAY not be your cup of tea ... but you won't know if you don't give it a go! P.S. This is micro podcast, which means episodes won't go over 20 minutes. That said, if I bring on a guest it could very well go over that amount of time. P.S.S. The world can be cruel, so try to be kind and remember that you are never alone. 🫶Hope

  • Why we shouldn't be saying this word anymore. S3 E8
    Nov 24 2025

I try to learn something new every day and this is a big something. I definitely wouldn't have been using this word if I knew that it's derogatory to a specific group of people that have a long history of atrocious treatment.

I'm a firm believer that knowledge is power and as the knowledge of this racial slur word was brought to my attention, I thought it best to have an episode about it so y'all can know about it too.

Thanks AS ALWAYS for giving me a listen and continue to support with this podcast. Y'all rock!

Be well. Stay safe. God bless. 🌻

  • Bad apples or a bad system?🤔 👎🏾 S3 E7
    Nov 19 2025

***All views and opinions are mine. Unless I share links of articles that touch more on the topic or topics of the episode. 😉***

As one who has a profound respect for law enforcement, I can't deny that there are bad cops out there. We all know they exist. Though we wish they didn't. Kinda like corrupt politicians. #justsayin

This is NOT to put the profession of law enforcement down. This is just about the minority that, IMO, put a bad spotlight on the profession. 👎🏽

That said, do you personally see it about some bad apples or a bad system that needs fixing OR both?

To all the amazing cops out there (and all first responders) thank you for what you do, may God 's angels always protect you. 👮🏽‍♀️👮🏽🚓🤗

Thanks for giving me a listen. 🫶🏽

Be well. Stay safe. God bless. 🌻

  • Veteran's Day! 🫡 The rise of Islamophobia! 😔S3 E6
    Nov 16 2025

My apologizes for not talking about veteran's day! It may be late, but I definitely am talking about it now! Big thank you for ALL that have served in the armed forces -- regardless of which branch and which era. ALL are appreciated! 🫡💓

The other topic is something I could not put off anymore as it's truly sad to me to see such hate coming out more and more in social media for New York Mayor Elect Zohran Mamdani -- like really? We Christians are supposed to LOVE as Christ loved/loves us. So, of course, I felt compelled to get real about this topic. Fear mongering and hate has never gotten the human race anywhere! #facts

Thanks so much for your continued support. It means the world to me! #bet 😉🫶🏽

The following is an article that supports the findings I spoke about with regards to the rise of Islamophobia since Zohra Mamdani ran for Mayor of New York: 👇🏽
