Kommissar Kluftinger ermittelt im Kloster - das erfolgreiche Theaterstück exklusiv als Hörspiel. Komissar Kluftinger lässt sich von Dr. Martin Langhammer zu einem Urlaub in einem Kloster im Allgäu überreden. Dort angekommen, stellt Kluftinger entsetzt fest, dass er sich mit Langhammer nicht nur die spärliche Zelle teilen muss, sondern auch noch um 5 Uhr morgens zu ersten Gebet erscheinen soll. Zum Glück legt Langhammer ein Schweigegelübte ab und der Kommissar hat seine Ruhe. Doch dann stirbt in der ersten Nacht einer der Mönche durch einen Blitzschlag auf dem Dach des Klosters.
