The primary election is almost here, and Avery Shaw is in her glory. Her boss has unleashed her on the leading candidates - including two of whom she downright loathes - and Macomb County's leading reporter (and pot-stirrer extraordinaire) is about to turn the election on its ear. She just needs to find a story first. When her nemesis, Tad Lancaster, loses a volunteer, Avery sniffs out a bigger story...or at least she thinks she does. She has a pile of documents, too many insidious ideas to wrangle, and a long-suffering boyfriend who can do nothing but shake his head.

Christmas is here, but the Winchester witches aren't exactly teeming with good cheer. Well, they are, but it's not the sort of Christmas cheer Aunt Tillie wants waiting for her under this year's tree. When Aunt Tillie finds out her great-nieces want to separate for Christmas Day - forgoing the family's annual tradition - she decides to teach them a little lesson. Of course, since she's Aunt Tillie, her dose of retribution comes in the form of her favorite holiday Christmas stories.

Avery Shaw is living the dream.... Kind of.

She's officially moved to her dream house, and her boyfriend Eliot Kane is making her host a housewarming party to show off the new digs to her family. All is going well–other than the endless arguments over food and hiding from Avery's family, of course–until one of Avery's enemies comes calling.

Avery's former boyfriend Jake Farrell broke up with Cara Carpenter weeks before but she's still stalking him.... and Avery in the process. When Cara turns up dead at a high-profile event, not only is Jake a suspect, but Avery and Eliot are, too.

Life is changing for Avery Shaw. She's searching for a house with her boyfriend Eliot so they can officially move in together. She's been gifted special passes to Macomb County's comic book convention - and she couldn't be more excited. She's also been put in charge of her most hated enemy at work, and the power is going straight to her head. When Eliot lets Avery visit the convention center early, the duo stumble across a dead body and Avery's happy week is thrown into turmoil.

Zoe Lake is engaged—even she can't believe it. Aric Winters, the man of her dreams, has slipped a ring on her finger and asked her to pledge her future to him. She's ready—kind of. When death and destruction explode—literally—Zoe has a decision to make. Old enemies die hard, and it seems the path to happily ever after winds through Covenant College. Between the guilt plaguing her over her former roommate's death, and the betrayal crushing her heart thanks to her ex-boyfriend Aric, Zoe is struggling to make sense of her world. Zoe finally agrees to join the Covenant College monster hunters and enlists in the Academy. The problem is, she doesn't trust them any more than she trusts the monsters they purport to hunt.

Zoe Lake and Aric Winters are ready to say "I do". They've fought sphinxes, witches, and monster hunters - and all they want now is peace. Unfortunately, that's not so easy to find. When the wedding planners - and warring mothers - descend on their happy home, Aric and Zoe are plunged into a world they never expected.

Avery Shaw is in a funny spot. Her best friend is pregnant, her cousin's girlfriend is up to something, and her boyfriend has serious issues on the brain. When teenager Sierra Jackson goes missing, Avery is in a unique position to scoop everyone. The girl's fighting family is more concerned with a messy divorce and pointing fingers than helping find Sierra, so Avery becomes obsessed with discovering her whereabouts on her own.

After a lazy summer, where the only thing to get her blood pumping was resident lothario werewolf Aric Winters, Zoe returns to Covenant College with three new roommates and a few old distractions. But Laura - the roommate who was supposed to be the easiest to get along with - develops a jealous attitude and a secret agenda. Before she even realizes what's happening, Zoe is thrust into another dangerous supernatural situation.

Zoe Lake and Aric Winters thought they were living happily ever after. They were wrong. Five years after surviving Covenant College's final showdown, they find themselves at a crossroads. They're living together. They're happy. There is no future set in stone, though.

Things are going from bad to worse for Zoe Lake. Actually, if there's something beyond worse - she's pretty sure that's the world she's living in these days. Between threats from hometown werewolves, visits from sarcastic ghosts, and the eternal struggle of what shoes to wear to a party, Zoe can't fit much more on her plate. Covenant College was supposed to be a new beginning. Instead, it's becoming a frightening ending for a series of girls that have gone missing during the winter semester.

When a local woman goes missing and is later found dead, Avery finds a tangled web of sex, lies, and...well...just overall freaky people to focus on. One man is identified by witnesses, but another may be guilty: the woman's husband.

When Avery's current assignment crosses paths with the story she wants to chase, things come to a head. There's a tangled web of steroids, obnoxious teenagers, and sketchy coaches to unravel. When you compound that with Grandpa and Mario's new business venture - they're running a traveling food truck and taking it to local high schools - Avery's tenuous grasp on reality is starting to fray.
