A few books exist on Asherah so I am going to jump in and add my two cents. I found the others to be rather complex. I will do my best to deconstruct it all in this book, but for the sake of brevity I can't go too deep. Like all my books, I will cover the texts and history. I have many old notes that I will clean up and present here.

He is the top of the top and the father of all the Klippot that leads humanity astray.

Welcome to the second installment in the Baal on Buddhism series in which I take complicated Buddhist topics and make them approachable to all. I was not initially intending on making this the second book in the series, in fact, I wasn't going to write this book until sometime in 2018. It has been on my list of books to write for several years, but an odd chain of synchronicities occurred in which pushed me to write this now. I took it as a sign that my perspective on this practice is coming at the right time for many people. It also gave me the opportunity to reconnect with my own shadow self in the process.

The Talmud is by far the most important set of books in the Jewish faith aside from the Torah or the first five books of the Old Testament. In many ways, the Talmud may even surpass that in importance. I say this because if the Talmud did not exist, the laws that are written in the Torah would not make any sense. So in this way, it is like Jewish Canon law. Just like Catholic Canon law explains biblical texts of the bible, so too does the Talmud. It does not only explain laws, but it goes into great depth on many other topics as well.

From the depths of the desert sands of Mesopotamia have emerged many mysteries. Mysteries that until this day feed the ever-burning fires of conspiracy and wonder. From the mad Arab and the Necronomicon, to the conspiracy of human-enslaving Annunaki. In ancient times, Mesopotamian rulers ravaged the Holy Land and exiled the people. There has never been a goddess in all the western traditions as maligned as the Goddess Lilith. She has been called the epitome of all that is evil in the world. She was considered wild, uninhibited, argumentative, and sexually deviant. She has been called the temptress, the prostitute from hell, and most popularly as the succubus that comes and not only steals the semen of men as they sleep, but also killing them in the process. Some of these qualities might very well be true and some not so much.

When one thinks of the Kabbalah, they often think of the 10 emanations of the tree of life. It is by far the most popular of the Kabbalistic symbols and rightfully so. It is also the one most, how shall I say, comprehensible of the Kabbalistic principles. Of course, it contains deep mysteries but if one were to attempt to describe its function, it can be done so with ease. This is the aspect of Kabbalah most people are exposed to.

Tiamat is truly the mother goddess of every creation. Through the darkened and treacherous hallways of myth, her image emerges at every turn. In some traditions, she is leviathan from the Bible with a masculine energy. In others, she is the mother of chaos and void such as in Mesopotamian myth and the Book of Enoch. She is all those things and everything in between. She is found in every corner of mankind’s spiritual endeavor. She is the water that gives us life.

For most, the goddess Tara the Goddess of compassion and protection. Few people know that she has several other natures as well; 21 in all. She, like most deities in the eastern religions, whether it be Hinduism or certain forms of Buddhism , have several different natures.

Shiva is one of the most mysterious gods of the Hindu pantheon. His energy can be found in all things, yet his tranquil and fierce energy can seem out of reach for some. His images often depict him in a meditative state or in his most common form, the Nataraja, or the one who dances within the circular fires that represent creation and dissolution.

Occultism and magick is rife with symbols. In fact, the very basis of magick and occult is symbology. Everything is symbolic of some higher truth, from the rituals we perform to the books we listen to. We are immersed in the power and magick of symbols. The tarot cards are one aspect of occultism that I feel is worth paying close attention to. In this book, we will not be focusing on tarot cards as a source of knowledge about the future; there are plenty of good books for that. Instead, we will be using them as a driving force for magickal practice.

Let’s face it - whether we like money or not, in this world, we need it. Money makes the world go round. This has been the case since the dawn of humanity. Although, in the most ancient of days money was not used, other goods were. Grain, livestock, and goods of all types were used to obtain other goods. It was a bartering system as it were. Today, we use money as a means of obtaining goods, but in actuality, it is still bartering. It is just that we have added an extra element to it. Money, now, allows us to exchanges goods. It gives us the right to.

When one looks back in ancient history, there are a few great magicians that stand out. When we conjure up the idea of the devil and the demonic hordes in our mind, we are often thinking in the context of how Christianity has portrayed them. The devil and his supposed horns, the Exorcist’s battle with the demon possessed, the inverted cross, the Osculum infame (The Infamous kiss) or the Black Mass in which a young woman is sacrificed to Satan. All these are mostly influenced by Christian ideas in some way or another. The Prominence of Christianity in the study of demonology cannot be denied.

The great Canaanite god Baal is one of the most maligned deities in Western religious history. Only Satan is considered more sinister and evil. This is sad because Baal is not evil at all but has been done an injustice, and that is something I will be discussing in great length later in this book.
