Sara è vittima di un rapimento e Hannane ne diviene la "sorvegliante". Ma si tratta proprio di un rapimento? E qual è il reale ruolo di Hannane nell'evento? L'autrice sembra suggerire che nel DNA della persona esista un richiamo alle sue radici, anche se mai conosciute. È una tesi ardita ma non priva di realismo, nello stesso tempo costruita in maniera credibile e coinvolgente.
