Jonathan Edwards (1703-1758) is American's greatest theologian and philosopher. One of the key figures in the 'Great Awakening,' he entered Yale at 12 and was head tutor at 21. Edwards pastored congregations for over 30 years and earned a reputation as a consummate rhetorician and master preacher. Shortly after becoming President of Princeton University he died of complications from a smallpox inoculation. He is buried in Princeton cemetery.

The New Testament Apocrypha refers to texts written by early Christians that were not included in the Bible used by the main branches of Christianity today. After hearing the sermons of Ambrose, he began his great internal struggle which led to his conversion in 387 C.E. The Confessions describe his conversion, shedding light on the questions that had troubled him on his way to the Cross. Outside Scripture it is the most famous - and perhaps the most important - of all spiritual books.

In EJ Waggoner's sweeping overview of the history of God's people, God reveals as far back as the Old Testament the same gospel which Christians believe today. From Abraham to today's listener, all who believe are under the everlasting covenant. The author had a vision of "Christ crucified... and to me was revealed for the first time in my life the fact that God loved me, and that Christ gave Himself for me personally. It was all for me." According to Waggoner, one line runs through the Bible - God's everlasting covenant.

This book intends to capture the roles, responsibilities and requirements of these Clerics that serve in the Lower house of prelature who are called overseer, servant leader or monsignor.

Mention is often made of Leo XIII and a famous vision that he saw — that of an attack being made or planned by the devil against the Church. The facts about this vision, however, have been unclear for many decades, for there are different versions of what occurred, and of what was or was not said in that vision.
