Songs of Kabir is a book from 1915 consisting of 100 poems of Kabir, the 15th century Indian poet and mystic, translated to English by Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore.

These poems are English interpretations of poems originally written in Urdu and Punjabi. Interpretations are not translations. The interpretations capture the essence of the poem rather than the form and specifics of the original language.

Twelve years - that's how long the prophet Almustafa has been waiting for the ship that is to take him back home.
