"L'Étourdi ou les contretemps" est la première comédie en 5 actes et en vers de Molière. Elle fut créée à Lyon en 1655 et reprise à Paris dès l'installation de la troupe en 1658, au théâtre du "Petit Bourbon". Lélie, fils de Pandolfe, aime Célie, esclave de Truffaldin aimée aussi de Léandre. Pour faire triompher son amour, il a recours aux stratagèmes de Mascarille, son valet, mais les fait échouer par ses étourderies. Acte II, scènes 1 à 7. "Le Dépit amoureux" est lié à une autre étape provinciale de Molière, Béziers. La pièce y fut donnée en 1656.

Kabir, meaning "Great" and one of the 99 names of God in Arabic, was a mystic and poet, born around 1440 in Varanasi to poor Muslim parents. Another account claims he was the child of a Brahmin widow. He himself said he was "at once the child of Allah and Ram". Kabir grew up learning his father’s craft of weaving and overcame many obstacles to become a disciple of Saint, or Swami, Ramananda, the leading pioneer of the Bhakti movement, which promoted salvation for all.
