"Le plaisir de rompre" (1897) est une comédie en un acte de Jules Renard, à portée autobiographique, et souvent jouée avec une pièce ultérieure de l'auteur, "Le pain de ménage" (1898). Maurice rend visite à Blanche, femme mûre qui est sa maîtresse, qu'il quitte alors qu'il prépare son mariage avec une jeune fille fortunée de sa génération. This group of 19th-century American poets was the first to rival their British counterparts in popularity. Kabir, meaning "Great" and one of the 99 names of God in Arabic, was a mystic and poet, born around 1440 in Varanasi to poor Muslim parents.
