Things are going missing, so the animals think someone is stealing. Hamilton Troll doesn't want to believe it, that is, until he gets carried away. Dropped onto Fiona's pile of toys, Hamilton realizes he needs to teach her not to take things, and to return everyone's stuff so she won't get in trouble.

Emotions run high when Starlit challenges Hamilton to a race. Hamilton's certain he can't lose, and Starlit's sure she'll win. The characters plan a course that takes the trolls through Hamilton's world. It's an action-packed race. Yet that's when the story takes an unexpected turn.

Surprise! Looking up to the sky watching ducks fly by, Hamilton sees something he has never seen before; another troll! Hamilton suddenly realizes he's not the only troll in the world. Leaping at the chance to learn more, he begs Starlit to stay for a while then introduces her to all of his friends. The next day, he can't find her and he begins to worry. The search for the missing troll is only the first challenge. When they approach Hamilton's picnic, there's another surprise.
