Kokosnuss im "Drachenland" China! Seit Tagen liest Kokosnuss alles, was er zum spannenden Thema "China" in die Pfoten bekommen kann. Da platzt Oskar mit einer Überraschung in die Drachenhöhle: Sein Vater, der Fressdrache Herbert, plant eine Reise zur Verwandtschaft nach China. "Auweia, kennt sich dein Papa mit chinesischen Drachen aus?", fragt Matilda. "Ich glaube, dort muss man sehr höflich sein." Da schlägt Kokosnuss vor, dass die Freunde Herbert nach China begleiten. Denn er weiß, dass mit dem mächtigen chinesischen Drachen Long Long nicht zu spaßen ist.

Kokosnuss reist um die Welt, um seinen Freund Oskar zu retten. Der kleine Drache Kokosnuss ist entsetzt: Der fiese Murk hat seinen Freund Oskar entführt! Beide sind spurlos verschwunden. Spurlos? Nein, zum Glück nicht ganz. Oskar konnte einen Brief mit Hinweisen hinterlassen und der führt Kokosnuss direkt nach - London! Riesig ist die Stadt der Regenschirmträger und Teetrinker, aber der Murk ist längst weitergereist. Zunächst nach Paris zum Eiffelturm, dann nach Pisa, wo man schiefe Türme mag. Und dann führen Oskars Briefe sogar bis nach China.

Kleiner Drache trifft Dinosaurier - urzeitigmäßig gut! Seit der Fressdrache Oskar ein Buch über Dinosaurier bekommen hat, redet er über nichts anderes mehr. Kokosnuss und Matilda lassen sich von der Begeisterung anstecken und alle drei reisen mit Hilfe des Laserphasers in die Kreidezeit. Sie wollen dort einen echten Tyrannosaurus Rex finden. Ein aufregendes Abenteuer beginnt.
