Weil es ihrer Großmutter nicht besonders gut geht, macht sich Rotkäppchen eines Tages durch den dunklen Wald auf den Weg zu ihr, um ihr Kuchen und Wein zu bringen. Zwar warnte ihre Mutter sie davor, vom Weg abzukommen. Doch nach einem Gespräch mit einem Wolf, der sie auf die schönsten Blumen auf einer naheliegenden Wiese aufmerksam macht, kann Rotkäppchen nicht anders und verlässt ihren Pfad, um Blumen für die Großmutter zu pflücken.

Können Tiere über Gut und Böse entscheiden? In Grimms klassischem Märchen aus dem Jahre 1840 verschwinden die drei Töchter eines Holzhauers spurlos im Wald. Sie finden Unterschlupf bei einem alten Mann, doch um sich seine Hilfe zu verdienen, sollen sie sich um seine Tiere kümmern, aber nicht jede der Töchter ist auch dazu bereit, weshalb sie von den Tieren bestraft werden. Das Märchen über Hilfsbereitschaft und Gutherzigkeit ist eine lehrreiche Geschichte für Groß und Klein.
