Immer mehr junge Fürsten und Adelige kommen in das kleine Dorf, um um die schöne Perlenkönigin zu werben. Doch diese stellt den Männern drei Aufgaben, welche es zu erfüllen gilt um mit ihr auf ihre Insel zurückzukehren, alle Männer scheitern vergeblich daran und ziehen frustriert von dannen.
