Als Babba Hesselbach nach Hause kommt, fängt der Hausbesitzer Babba Hesselbach ab und es kommt zum Streit. Dabei entfährt es dem aufgebrachten Prokuristen Hesselbach: "Wir ziehen aus."

Willi fragt Mamma Hesselbach, ob er nicht einen französischen Gast vom Treffen der europäischen Jugend an Heiligabend mit nach Hause bringen darf. Unter Protest stimmen die Eltern zu. Als jedoch der besagte Gast mit einem Jeep der Militärpolizei vorgefahren wird und sich nach Babba Hesselbachs Zeit als Soldat in Frankreich erkundigt, befürchtet die Familie von der NS-Vergangenheit eingeholt zu werden.
