A Midsummer Night's Dream is one of Shakespeare's best early works: an airy, romantic romp in the woods among bumbling rustics, temporarily star-crossed lovers, and the charming fairies who bewitch them all. Returning from the Civil War Mathew helps his father on a massive cattle drive only for their relationship to completely fall apart as Father is pitted against Son.

This family tragedy, soaked in blood, deceit, and betrayal is at the pinnacle of Shakespeare's works and a true epic of English theatre. In der fremdartigen Metropole Sonnenpass suchen die Abenteurer den Uhrmacher und Erfinder Verrocchio auf, um das Artefakt, welches Sir Gavvendyle ihnen hinterlassen hat, zu erforschen. In seiner Werkstatt treffen sie das exzentrische Genie leider nicht an, dafür aber sein bizarres Sicherheitssystem Miracula, welches sie für Eindringlinge hält, die es gnadenlos zu bekämpfen gilt!

Die Suche nach dem Mörder Sir Gavvendyles führt die Freunde nach Mordenkain, in die Stadt der Beutel- und Halsabschneider. Unversehens kreuzen sie den Weg der blutrünstigen Bande der Pfähler und müssen sich darüber hinaus noch an eine neue Begleiterin gewöhnen.

Den Banden von Mordenkain knapp entkommen, sollte die Reise mit dem Luftschiff "Luftdrachen“ den Helden nun eigentlich etwas Ruhe ermöglichen. Doch nichts liegt ferner als das! Ein Giftanschlag, ein Assassine an Bord und schließlich sogar die mächtigen Traumspinnen sorgen für eine unvergessliche Reise, die den treuen Hörer an Ereignisse aus einer anderen Welt erinnern könnte.

Die von schwerer Grippe geplagte Rose Bailey sieht, wie Hailey Patterson von maskierten Männern in einen Van gezogen wird. Doch Detective Laurie Howard traut der Beobachtung der kranken Pastorin nicht... hat Rose sich das alles nur eingebildet?
