Before Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Trevor Noah, and Doonesbury, there was Art Buchwald. Die Handlung ist leicht erzählt: Ein junges Mädchen liegt im Krankenhaus, erzählt über ihre Fetische und Eskapaden und verliebt sich in den Pfleger. Eine an sich seichte Story, die dadurch interessant wird, dass die Autorin sie mit sehr anstößigen Erzählungen aus dem Leben eines schwer traumatisierten Mädchens spickt.
