Our programs allow students to practice conversing in German to a much greater extent than what is possible in a classroom setting. The progression of the course starts with simply repeating set phrases, which anyone can do. Then, we steadily bring the student to a place where he can formulate complete and accurate sentences in real-time conversation.

Our Mastering German Conversation series gives students the opportunity to train their conversation skills with oral drills. Each module focuses on a specific aspect of grammar. This module focuses on the future tense and passive voice.

This is our last and most advanced module focused on learning to use the perfect tense in spoken German. The major components of this unit are: advanced practice for "sein", "haben", and "modal" verbs in the present perfect tense; advanced practice for comparison constructions; additional vocabulary useful for office and social life; and advanced practice for correct application of gender, case, and adjective endings. At the end of the unit, the student will have a strong grasp of using past participles in free-flowing speech.

This module continues your focus on learning to use the perfect tense in spoken German. After working through the drills, you will have a better grasp of formulating concepts in the past tense. Also, you will be able to interact at a basic level around the office, when talking about travel and weather, and when visiting a restaurant.

Like unit one, this module focuses on modal verbs. We also briefly introduce the perfect (past), future, and subjunctive tenses. We expand vocabulary associated with the house, and practice gender and adjective endings in real-time speech.
