This is my first attempt at writing a laugh-out-loud comedy. It is a satirical look at what it’s like for your average 18-year-old who joins the elite British Army Parachute Regiment. From the initial shock of leaving home to the pride on donning the famous Maroon Beret. However, this is not your typical book. The story is narrated by a very clever and sarcastic fly. If this fly were to be compared to a human, it would probably be a morphed version of Jeremy Clarkson and Billy Connelly.

If you are between the ages of eight and 29, and not following the law, you will be sent to a government run weight-loss camp. Trust me, this is not a camp you want to go to. Twins Jenn and Will have been hiding very well, they grew up in a state run facility and ran away before anyone could send them to camp. Unfortunately, they could only run for so long. They have been caught and sent to camp.

So what do we have? A husband who glimpses his sinister future; a man haunted by his vivid nightmares; homicidal maniacs; creatures from the deep depths of the ocean, and a bullied child who fights back. We also drop in on an auditor on the brink of insanity; a young girl haunted by her dead best friend; a surgeon on a bloody, vengeful mission; a tale of the undead, and a vengeful clown.
