  • S2E26 Building a City (Josh Johnson) with Jesus!
    Jul 1 2025

In this episode, Raz and Jamie continue their conversation with Josh Johnson, a real estate developer with a heart for building more than just physical structures. This time, Josh shares the story of a vivid dream from God—something rare for him—that changed the direction of his life.

In the dream, he and a group of friends were digging together in a field surrounded by trees. As he prayed into the dream, he sensed Jesus inviting him to build a city—not alone, but with friends. That calling led him to move to Redding, California, trusting God’s voice step by step.

The move was marked by a series of supernatural confirmations that made it surprisingly smooth at first. But once there, Josh encountered the deeper work of resilience—pressing on through delays, obstacles, and personal growth as God shaped more than just external plans.

Josh reflects on discovering his true identity as a builder—not just of places, but of people, community, and belonging. His story is a beautiful example of what it means to follow Jesus into both vision and hardship, and to create spaces where others can be fully known and loved.

  • S2E25 Suffering (Josh Johnson) with Jesus!
    Jun 24 2025

In this episode, Raz and Jamie talk with Josh Johnson, a serial entrepreneur (including real estate developer) and devoted follower of Jesus, about the surprising ways God leads—and sustains—us through life’s hardest moments.

Josh shares how he came to faith in middle school after hearing the testimony of an older student who was miraculously healed of cancer. That early encounter with the power of Jesus planted seeds that would later carry him through his own family’s battle with suffering.

Years later, Josh and his wife sensed a clear call from God to move their family to Cincinnati—without knowing why. Within a year of moving, their daughter was diagnosed with a rare muscle cancer. It turned out that Cincinnati Children’s Hospital was one of the top treatment centers in the country for her specific diagnosis. God had gone ahead of them.

This conversation dives into the supernatural leadership of Jesus, the honest wrestling that comes with suffering, and what it means to trust God even when the outcome is unknown. Josh vulnerably shares the question that he wrestled with—“If my daughter dies, will I still believe in God?”—and how his faith has deepened through suffering.

It’s a powerful, honest, and hope-filled look at living with Him when life doesn’t go the way we planned.
