  • Think we're doing sex-ed wrong? You're Never The Only One
    Sep 10 2025

This week, Cat & Emma tackle the topic of sex-education in schools and Cat tells us about the time she made everyone uncomfortable at her kids' school when she went in for the 'Sex-Ed' chat.

Emma also talks a lot about pigeons which is, actually, a lot more interesting than it sounds.

As ever - PLEASE GET IN TOUCH WITH YOUR OWN STORIES!

We want to hear your tales of woe, wonder and shame. It can be about sex-ed or any of the other topics we discuss on the podcast or, it can be about anything you like, just as long as it's going to bring us joy in one way or another.

  • Don't like your friend's partner? You're never the only one...
    Sep 3 2025

Welcome back to Season 3 of You're Never The Only One. We are so excited to be back - trust us - it was touch and go for a moment there.

This week, Cat & Emma answer your burning questions and chat about what to do when you hate your friend's partner. Unlike Jonny's speech, this episode is definitely not BORING (that'll make sense when you listen to it).

Remember, Cat & Emma will be going live on instagram at @yourenevertheonlyone every Monday to chat about your reactions to that week's episode so, if you've got anything at all to say about the episode, or maybe you've got your own story to tell then please get in touch.

  • We Listen + We Don't Judge...You're Never The Only One
    Feb 12 2025

Welcome to the last episode in Season 2 ofYou're Never The Only One. We are gutted to be bringing it to a close but we want to come back bigger and better for Season 3.

As it's the last episode we wanted to make YOU guys the main event so we are sharing your biggest and baddest confessions and, in the style of the social media trend,we listen and we don't judge (much).

From collecting dandruff and stashing it at work, to cutting up poos with a knife, you have laid your grubby souls bare and we are so grateful for it.

While we may not be posting a weekly episode, we will be bringing you lots of instagram lives, MiniPods and maybe (maybe)some live events while we prep for Season 3.

As ever, we'd love to hear from you. If you've got anything to say about the final episode (or any episode), or if you've got a story that you think we will love, then please send it to us via the usual channels.

    Feb 5 2025

In the penultimate episode of Season 2, Cat and Emma get into the complicated issues surrounding vasectomies and why men are so reluctant to get them. Emma also discusses the Affection vs Sex vicious cycle and what it's like when you get jizz in your eye.

  • Mum Bullies + Doing Too Much For Your Kids ... You're Never The Only One
    Jan 29 2025

Welcome back! You’re Never The Only One rolls on through January—yes, it’s still January—with the frenetic energy of two women attempting to juggle the gym, ditch the biscuits, and squeeze ‘new year, new me’ goals onto an already overloaded plate.

This week, Cat takes on the world of mum bullies—because yes, they exist, and yes, they can be seriously damaging. Meanwhile, Emma asks: are we doing too much for our kids when it comes to chores? Are we raising capable adults or just very dependent houseguests? It’s a lively one, and we’d LOVE to hear your thoughts!

We’d also LOVE to hear your thoughts on our upcoming topics.

Emma: You’re Never The Only One…who has a sex cycle :

Do you go through phases of wanting it all the time—then suddenly, not at all? Is it hormones, stress, or just life getting in the way? How do you navigate these shifts in desire, and how does it affect your relationship?

Cat: You’re Never The Only One…who’s husband refuses to get a vasotomy : Is this a battle you’ve faced too, or are you the one who ends up making all the family planning decisions? How do you feel about it—frustrated, resigned, or something else entirely? And how do you navigate the conversation when it feels like you're doing all the heavy lifting?

  • Baby Brain + Pretty Privilege...You're Never The Only One
    Jan 22 2025

We’re back! You’re Never The Only One hits 2025 with all the energy of a couple of women in their forties, managing the peri-menopause, two children and a mental load the size of a small island, can muster. Which, surprisingly is quite a lot.

This week Cat discusses the very real thing that is baby brain - she shares her own stories of post-natal discombobulation and shares stories from other women. Emma discusses the idea of pretty privilege - do you think your life has been easier because you’re conventionally pretty, or maybe it’s been harder because society doesn’t see you as conventionally attractive? It’s a big conversation but we’d LOVE to hear your own thoughts and feelings on everything we chatted about.

We’d also LOVE to hear your thoughts on our upcoming topics.
Emma: You’re Never The Only One…who does too much for their kids: are you guilty of choosing the path of least resistance and doing everything for your kids? Do you kids do chores? What are your expectations of how they help around the house?

Cat: You’re Never The Only One…who’s been bullied by another mum: it’s easy to think that once we’re grown, the idea of playground bullying is in our past but for many mums, that’s just not true at all. Have you been bullied by another mum or group of mums?
