  • Episode 32 – 2023–24: Klopp’s Last Dance
    Mar 31 2026
In Episode 32 of You’ll Never Pod Alone, we relive one of the most emotional seasons in Liverpool’s modern history — the final campaign of Jürgen Klopp.
The 2023–24 season began with renewal. A completely rebuilt midfield featuring Alexis Mac Allister, Dominik Szoboszlai, Wataru Endō, and Ryan Gravenberch injected fresh energy into Klopp’s side, while Mohamed Salah continued to lead from the front. Liverpool quickly re-established themselves as contenders, playing with intensity, resilience, and flashes of the old “mentality monsters” spirit.
Then came the moment that changed everything.
In January, Klopp announced he would leave at the end of the season, turning every remaining match into a farewell tour. Anfield became a stage of emotion, gratitude, and reflection, as fans celebrated the manager who had restored the club’s identity and delivered its greatest modern-era successes.
On the pitch, Liverpool fought on all fronts. A youthful, injury-hit side captured the League Cup, with academy players stepping up in a memorable Wembley victory. The Reds remained in the title race deep into the season, but fatigue and injuries ultimately saw them fall away, finishing 3rd and exiting Europe earlier than hoped.
Episode 32 captures a season defined not by endings, but by legacy — a campaign that celebrated everything Klopp built: belief, unity, and a connection between team and supporters that transformed Liverpool Football Club.
Because some eras don’t just end…
    They echo forever.

  • Episode 31 – 2022–23: The Rebuild Begins
    Mar 24 2026
In Episode 31 of You’ll Never Pod Alone, we revisit a season that forced Liverpool to confront reality after years of relentless success under Jürgen Klopp.
The 2022–23 campaign began with change already underway. Club legend Sadio Mané departed for Bayern Munich, ending one of the most iconic attacking trios in Liverpool history. In his place arrived Darwin Núñez, whose explosive but unpredictable style symbolised a team beginning to transition into its next phase.
Liverpool’s season quickly became defined by inconsistency. Injuries, fatigue from previous campaigns, and an aging midfield exposed vulnerabilities that had rarely been seen during Klopp’s peak years. Despite standout performances from Mohamed Salah and the consistently brilliant Alisson Becker, Liverpool struggled for control and rhythm throughout the campaign.
There were still unforgettable moments. The historic 7–0 demolition of Manchester United at Anfield became one of the most iconic results in Premier League history, and late tactical adjustments — including Trent Alexander-Arnold’s move into a hybrid midfield role — sparked a strong run of form toward the end of the season.
Ultimately, Liverpool finished 5th, missing out on Champions League qualification for the first time since 2016. Yet the season wasn’t simply about disappointment. It marked the beginning of an important rebuild, with new signings like Cody Gakpo and Núñez offering glimpses of the next Liverpool era.
Episode 31 tells the story of a team in transition — a reminder that even the greatest sides must evolve to stay at the top.
Because sometimes rebuilding is the first step toward the next great chapter.
