SmackDown started slow but ended on absolute fire. In tonight’s one-take, no-edits review, I break down everything that went down on WWE SmackDown — from Jade Cargill’s shocking heel turn and Tiffany Stratton’s ambush, to Carmelo Hayes being completely nerfed, Drew McIntyre’s win over Jimmy Uso, and Cody Rhodes doing more of the same. Ilja Dragunov keeps the open challenge rolling, and Aleister Black vs Damian Priest continues to heat up. It’s one of those nights where the first hour made me want to turn it off, but the second hour made me glad I didn’t.

Jade Cargill absolutely stole the show — this heel turn could redefine her entire run on SmackDown.

Last night’s Monday Night Raw should’ve been the night WWE shook things up — but instead, they played it safe. Seth Rollins was stripped of his title, a new No. 1 contender had to be crowned, and this was the perfect chance to elevate someone new like LA Knight, Bron Breakker, or Dominik Mysterio. But nope… WWE went with Jey Uso. What a fumble!

Don’t get me wrong, Jey Uso is great — but if WWE really wants to freshen the main event scene heading into Saturday’s Main Event against CM Punk, this was not the move. I’m fired up about how they fumbled three rising stars and went straight back to the safest option on the board.

Sami Zayn loses to Ilja Dragunov in a shocker. Cody Rhodes gets in Drew McIntyre’s face and finally shows some fire again. Jacob Fatu looks to be out with injury, and it feels like the whole show just flipped upside down. Cody’s crash-out moment might be the start of something bigger, maybe darker, and I’m all in for it.
