Welcome to episode 26 of What Was That Called Again? with Thomas and Will. In this week’s installment, turn out the lights, because it gets DARK. By that I mean all three movies have the word ‘Dark’ in the title.

Will gets all mixed up when it comes to his trying to logically think of what title goes with which description, but that’s par for the course I suppose. Thomas lays down some knowledge and then we get to the creative segment where some farm animal sounds are made but without much ambition.

If you want to know what that means, listen to this episode and don’t forget to hit us up on instagram or letterboxd at wwtcapod

    Enjoy!

Welcome to episode 25 of What Was That Called Again? with Thomas and Will. In this week’s installment, we are hitting up three werewolf movies of not really varying quality, but you’ll find out what I mean by that.

Thomas talks about that movie Gina up front, and then we get into the movie descriptions which Will does not think feels or sounds familiar. However, later, he realizes he has actually seen one of these.

The quote Thomas pulls is the opening line deliveries from one of the movies, and then we try to figure out what the context was for those lines being said. We ended up watching this particular movie after the recording, so, check back next week to hear us talk about that, or look us up on letterboxd at wwtcapod

    Enjoy.

Welcome to episode 24 of What Was That Called Again? with Thomas and Will. We sure have a doozy for you this week.

We kick the episode off with brief reviews of the films NO ONE HEARD THE SCREAM and MURDER IN A BLUE WORLD which were featured in last week’s episode. From there, we dive right into the films of the week.

Will has laughing fits as soon as he hears the title of one of these. Once all of that is settled, we do not have a quote to pull, so instead Thomas pulled a poster tagline and Will tries to figure out which movie that came from. Then we began the creative segment which caused some of the most laughter we have had yet in any episode of this show. If I may say so, this was a fun one to record for us, and we hope that translates into being fun to listen to.

    Enjoy.

Welcome to episode 23 of What Was That Called Again? with Thomas and Will. In this week’s episode, we cover three quite different films from Spanish filmmaker Eloy de la Iglesia. So, this episode was the third in our three recorded back to back to back, and it kind of shows. We are definitely just zipping through and our minds are kind of burnt out. Almost like the minds of the characters in our creative segment at the end which involves a nurse using the power of telekinesis to kill her patients. This one ended up coming out better than expected.

    Enjoy.

Welcome to episode 22 of What Was That Called Again? with Thomas and Will. In this episode, we hit up three animated films. Will boldly declares he will once again get all three correct although he does not know any of the films described.

First though, we plug our new social media pages and then we talk a little about the film FRIGHT (1971) from last week. Anyway, later on in the episode, we eventually get to our creative segment and it lasts like two minutes and then we end, but it doesn’t end because we kind of added a little more to the segment and then we end for real after that.

    Enjoy.

Welcome to episode 21 of What Was That Called Again? with Thomas and Will. In this episode, Thomas quickly goes over some thoughts he has on the film NIGHT OF THE BASTARD, which was recently featured on the podcast. There are no major spoilers mentioned in this discussion. Then, he makes the game fairly easy and the titles kind of just fit with their accompanying synopsis. However, the three films selected were all very intriguing.

Will wonders how it is possible for Thomas to have not known one of the films featured this week, since Thomas says he hadn’t heard of the movie until he was researching for the episode. Anyway, we get to the creative segment and it involves “a little torture” so, you can find out what that means.

    Enjoy.

Welcome to episode 20 of What Was That Called Again? with Thomas and Will. In this episode, Will once again announces up front that he is going to nail a hat trick. Is his hat trick announcement success rate going to stay at a solid 100%, or did he slip up this time?

We talk for a little bit about Gaspar Noé and then we get into a creative segment that involves a microfilm being used as a smear campaign for a political hopeful but then it turns into the microfilm being implanted into a horse carcass and a horse butcher finding it. Anyway, we limp along on that one and then the episode goes out on a bit of a whimper.

    Enjoy.

Welcome to episode 19 of What Was That Called Again? with Thomas and Will. If you want to avoid some minor spoilers from the 1969 film PAINT YOUR WAGON, then skip 06:35 - 15:00.

This week is a trio of deadly horror flicks that are maybe not suitable for children. But before we get to those, Will regales us with some country tunes and then a story about a dream he had the night before recording.

As with nearly every episode, Will thinks one or two movies sound/feel familiar but you’ll need to listen to find out if that helps him here. Afterward, Thomas struggles to deliver the facts as these three titles did not have much information readily available via imdb and he did not search anywhere else, as we are legally forbidden to do so. However, we did receive our first and at the time of posting this, ONLY piece of listener mail we have ever received. Thomas and Will lovingly go over the email and read it on air.

Finally, we come to the creative segment which Will tries to hold together with staples and duct tape as Thomas only adds in craziness, and Will eventually succumbs to the wacky things and has a laughing fit before the episode abruptly ends.

    Enjoy.
