Yoli and Mercy are Latina/Chicana nurses who carry their roots as proudly as their stethoscopes. After years of navigating the long shifts, cultural barriers, and unspoken struggles of healthcare, they knew the break room conversations deserved a louder mic. Together they created a podcast that transcends walls and workrooms—a space where cultura, care, and comunidad are celebrated without filter. Their mission is bigger than chisme: to amplify healthcare voices across healthcare and beyond, to motivate the next generation to step fully into their power, and to guide patients in learning to advocate for themselves. What began as shared stories between colleagues has become a safe place, a movement of resilience, and a growing legacy for every healthcare worker who believes their voice deserves to be heard.
