Kev's away visiting family and the boys didn't want to start a new season while he's over in England. God only knows what gibberish he'll be filling his head with! Probably not much worse than the crap he'll be filling his belly with! In the meantime, we decided that we'd set up a bracket by picking sixteen albums each, from the ones we've reviewed, and pit them against each other on Discord, to see which one will reign supreme! But will Corey load up on Metallica? Will Kev sacrifice any top picks to secure beloved favourites? And will someone turn off that damn car alarm!!!!???

Corey is away on important national security work. He says it's not spying "per se" but he can't tell me which country he's in and has told me I can't ask him any questions about plutonium. Oh, also, the superb author and journalist Peter Ames Carlin dropped by to talk about his brilliant book, "The name of this band is R.E.M." which Kev devoured ahead of jumping into this season. We chat about Peter's musical background, why he wanted to write about this band in particular, lots (of course) about the band themselves and a little bit o' The Boss, who's the subject of his most recent work.

But will Kevin flub the intro and will he force Peter to play any ridiculous games before he signs off?

And just like that we're wrapping up Season Six! We cover Side B of R.E.M.'s last multi-platinum-selling album, Monster. There's a lot more cock talk than you might have imagined heading in as Kev and Corey announce their new live musical project! But, will anyone get banged? Will anyone be blamed? "Automatic for the People" refers to the motto of Athens, Georgia-based eatery Weaver D's Delicious Fine Foods, after the phrase the restaurant's owner Dexter Weaver says to his customers instead of "you're welcome."
