Kara has taught for over 20 years in the US and around the world including in Minnesota, South Africa, Tanzania, Cambodia, and Colorado.

When she's not teaching, she is hiking, camping, and paddle boarding with family and friends.

Joyful Carrie Boyum explains how nearby Minnehaha Creek is where the Creekside Kids learn by the creek, picture Jesus by a creek, and get to tromp around in the creek!
