About this listen

Think Like a Leader exists to end amateur leadership—by helping emerging leaders become the most dependable person in any room they walk into.

This show is for real people with real responsibilities: work, family, bills, and a desire to lead at a higher level without faking it. No corporate jargon. No guru worship. Just straight conversations about what it actually takes to lead when life is messy and the stakes are real.

Each episode, host Dorian Albritton talks with entrepreneurs, executives, coaches, and everyday leaders who’ve had to earn trust the hard way. We break down:

  • How they think and make decisions under pressure
  • The habits and systems they use to stay consistent
  • The screwups, course corrections, and real costs behind their success
  • Practical tools you can use this week to lead better at work and at home

We’re building a generation of everyday leaders who are trusted, prepared, and powerful enough to change their corner of the world—2% at a time.

If you’re tired of weak, confusing, amateur leadership (in yourself or others) and you’re ready to level up how you think, decide, and act, you’re in the right place.

  • Why I’m Done With Amateur Leadership

    This episode is a reset.

As we step into a new year and ahead of Season 2, I wanted to pause and be honest about something I can’t ignore anymore. Amateur leadership isn’t just a workplace problem. It’s a life problem. And for a long time, I was participating in it too.

In this solo episode, I break down what amateur leadership really looks like, why it shows up so easily in our lives, and what it costs us when we let standards slide. I talk openly about where I’ve been reacting instead of leading, avoiding instead of owning, and why I made the decision to stop being casual about becoming dependable.

Using examples from professional sports, leadership psychology, and real life, I define what professional leadership actually means to me now. Not perfection. Not hype. Consistency, preparation, and responsibility.

Think Like a Leader exists to end amateur leadership by helping emerging leaders become the most dependable person in any room they walk into. This episode explains why that mission matters and why it starts with me.

Season 2 begins next week. This is the line in the sand.

  • Life Hit Me Hard… and It Changed the Direction of This Show

This episode is different. No guest. No script. Just the truth.

As we head into a new year, I wanted to pause and be honest about where I’ve been, what God has been doing in my life, and why Think Like a Leader is shifting into its next chapter. Between grad school, work, building a brand, and growing family responsibilities, life has been stretching me in every direction. And instead of pretending I’m holding it all together, I’m choosing to tell the truth about what’s really been happening behind the scenes.

In this episode, I share the moment I realized I couldn’t white-knuckle my way through life anymore and how that clarity led to a new mission for this show.

Think Like a Leader now exists for one purpose
To end amateur leadership by helping emerging leaders become the most dependable person in any room they walk into.

I break down what this mission means, why faith is no longer something I hide, and what you can expect moving forward:
More honesty. More practical leadership psychology. More 2 percent upgrades. More real tools to help you lead when life is messy, loud, inconvenient, and real.

If you’ve felt the show shifting, this episode explains why.
If you’re tired of weak leadership, this episode is for you.
If something in you knows you’re called to lead better, this is your moment.

Welcome to the new season of Think Like a Leader.
