  • January Giallo A La Mexicana: La Muerte Del Chacal (1984) + Ultraje (1977)
    Jan 13 2025

Well of course Mexico has Giallos & proto-slashers.

It’s January Giallo and Armando & Joey discuss the most obvious & well-known Mexican Giallo La Muerte Del Chacal (1984) and the very rare proto-slasher/revenge film Ultraje (1977).

La Muerte Del Chacal (1984): Texas Sheriff Bob is hunting down a serial killer that’s murdering women across Cameron County.

Ultraje (1977): After settling into a secluded life in the woods; art professor Daniel, his newly young wife Kathy and their infant daughter are torn apart by sleazy road workers who assault Kathy & leave Daniel in a comatose state. Several years later, a dazed Daniel with an axe in hand, wanders around the woods in search of the men responsible of losing his family.
