    Aug 4 2025

If you’ve ever thought, “I have no idea where my business income is going,” this episode is a must-listen. I’m joined by Jo Simpson, founder of the Financial Growth Academy, and we’re getting straight into the habits and systems that actually help business owners take control of their money.

We talk about why Profit First isn’t just a book but a practical way to make sure you’re paying yourself properly. Jo explains how to calculate what it really costs to bring in a client, and we discuss the difference between investing in growth and spending money just to feel busy. You’ll also hear us chat about money beliefs that stop entrepreneurs from keeping more of what they earn - and how small, consistent actions can transform your financial results without needing a maths degree.

  • Ep27 - The Mindset Shift To Guarantee Your Success
    Jul 28 2025

In this episode, I’m digging into the mindset shift that changed everything for me - the one that turned “this feels impossible” into “this is happening.”

I’m talking about what it means to look for proof that your dream is possible and how that one decision can shift your whole trajectory.

I want this episode to be a reminder that if someone else has done it, it’s possible for you too. Not in a fluffy way, but in a real, practical, “let’s make this non-negotiable” kind of way.

So if you need a dose of belief, a gentle nudge, or some tough love to rewire your thinking - this one’s for you.

    Here are the highlights:

The Importance of Mindset in Business Success (1:24)

Overcoming Challenges and Achieving Success (3:02)

Handling Criticism and Staying Motivated (6:18)

Practical Steps for Mindset Shift and Success (13:11)

  • Ep26 - Attending Events as an Introverted ADHD Business Owner
    Jul 21 2025

In this episode, I’m sharing what it’s really like to attend in-person events as an introverted business owner with ADHD. From managing energy levels to dealing with imposter syndrome and RSD, I walk you through my honest experience of showing up - even when it feels hard.

After recently attending (and hosting!) a few live events, I’ve been reflecting on what helps make these experiences feel doable and even enjoyable. I’m talking about the little things that make a big difference - like packing earplugs, being honest about what I need, and reminding myself that I’m safe, welcome, and I belong.

I also share how I prep before an event, how I reset during the day if things feel too much, and why it’s okay to take a breather. This isn’t about doing events perfectly - it’s about doing them in a way that works for our brains.

If showing up at events has ever made you feel overwhelmed or unsure, I hope this episode feels like a warm, encouraging nudge. You’re not alone - and you absolutely belong in the room.

    Here are the highlights:

    Personal Reflections and Recovery (3:52)

Hosting and Attending In-Person Events (5:24)

Overcoming Imposter Syndrome and RSD (7:43)

Practical Tips for Attending Events (11:49)

    Being Yourself and Networking (16:51)
