  • Want Better Results? Pick Your Weapon. | Friday FUNdamentals
    Jun 4 2026

In this Friday Fundamentals episode, KD and Brett Burton unpack a powerful idea:

it’s okay to do one thing really, really well.

From an unforgettable 80s concert story to lessons from high-performance sport and business, this conversation explores why so many people spread themselves too thin — and why the better path is often to identify your strengths, refine them, and lean into them.

They talk about the value of specialising earlier, knowing your “weapon”, and resisting the urge to be everything to everyone.

If you’ve ever struggled with self-doubt, overcommitting, or trying to fix every weakness at once, this episode offers a refreshing reminder to focus on what you do best.

Got a question or a “hill” you want us to unpack? Send it through here 👉 https://thepropertycouch.com.au/topics/

  • Ep 600 | Never Waste a Crisis: John McGrath & Tom Panos on Markets, Mindset & the Budget Bombshell
    Jun 4 2026

600 episodes. Thousands of conversations. One incredible community.

And if there's one thing we've learned along the way...

Success rarely follows a straight line.

Few stories prove that better than John McGrath's.

A 95/500 HSC. A football career ended by a doctor's verdict, and a pivot that led to one of Australia's most recognisable property empires.

For our 600th milestone, we went big.

Ben sits down with John McGrath and Tom Panos: two of the most trusted voices in Australian real estate, for a conversation that's equal parts origin story, market reality check and a few things the government probably doesn't want said out loud.

They cover John's remarkable rise, the mindset and habits that built an empire, and a no-holds-barred breakdown of the Federal Budget changes: what do they actually mean for the younger generation and first-home buyers already struggling to get onto the property ladder?

Very practical! Concise, but cover many scenarios. Givers of information and experience. Value you can't buy.

These guys are brilliant! I have learnt so much from listening to TPC and I now feel better prepared to take the leap into the property market as an investor. As the wise Ben Kingsley says, knowledge is empowering but only if you act on it!

Fantastic information

Thanks for being so informative, it’s great to know that anyone can give it a crack and succeed if you apply yourself correctly, to have that information is very empowering.

Thank you

FINALLY finished EVERY episode... I got onto this podcast late in the game and had 7 years to catch up on!! Proud to say i have worked my way through every single episode from the beginning - even the RBA updates I dont really understand. Bryce and Ben are so easy to listen to, and I often find myself giggling along to their banter as I pull up at work. Interestingly the show has actually made me realise my husband and I don't "need" to invest in property (very lucky couple to have double defined benefit super in retirement). For me this podcast has honestly changed my life, the guest speakers are always interesting and inspirational. They choose down to earth people I find I can relate to, not... Wankers 🤣. I've jumped onto a number of other audiobooks from their recommendations and guests. In the last 12-18 months my mindset has been transformed in relation to finance, career, education, even parenting! Slightly obsessed... My kids even think they know Bryce and Ben because most days they see their faces on the car display. THANK YOU Bryce, Ben and the rest of the team for providing this podcast, you're changing people's lives in more ways than you probably realise.
